WINTER FIRE® Rice Creek Sedum

Though scarcely reaching six inches tall, this easygoing succulent glows like a beacon in the winter garden thanks to its exceptional color, brought on by chilly weather. Plants are evergreen in most climates, changing from a rich green to a deep, burgundy or reddish-purple. WINTER FIRE® Sedum grows equally well in full sun and part shade, and is vigorous in both low- and moderate-water plantings. This plant is an excellent addition to rock/alpine gardens, foliar addition to perennial and waterwise beds, and bed edger, where it’s unique winter colors can contrast with other plants of foliar interest, like silvers and grasses. Equally good at low and high-elevations, this Sedum is appropriate for the Pacific Northwest, the Southeast, the Southwest, the Mountain West. A good plant for mountain gardens.
