The Story

‘Snowboard’ Calla Lilies feature classic, elegant white blooms that Callas are famous for. They’ll make exquisite floral arrangements and striking additions to perennial and container gardens. Calla Lily bulbs are easy-to-grow and will result in elegant blooms in just over two months. Callas are also favored for their foliage, which is lush with glossy, heart-shaped or pointed leaves, often flecked with white spots.

Native to South Africa, Callas grow best in full sun with moist soil, though some protection from intense afternoon sun is best to avoid burning the foliage. In dry climates, we recommend growing them in containers where they can be easily watered. In hot climates, the plant will go dormant in summer after flowering. Callas are only hardy in zones 8-10. In cooler zones, you can dig and store the bulbs in a cool, dry place over the winter. Then, re-plant the bulbs in spring.
