The Story

The Soft Colors Garden Bulb Collection welcomes early spring with Joan of Arc Crocus at 4-6" tall. Large snow white petals with golden pistils and purple striations are a beautiful greeting to spring. The favorite Tete-a-Tete Miniature Daffodil also blooms in early spring with cheery, fragrant, golden yellow flowers. In mid-spring, sweetly fragrant Dark Eyes Grape Hyacinths bloom with deep blue florets edged in white. Plant your collection in groups, or mix them together, among the garden perennials. All of these bulbs will naturalize and spread readily to create lovely carpets of color. They also provide important early-season nectar to our pollinators as they emerge in the spring. To allow the colors to shine and give space for naturalizing, plant in groups of 3-6, spaced apart by 6-8". Drought-tolerant and deer resistant once established.
